Secondly we have
NOBODY'S
FOOL (Cat No: SALVOCD005)

This was originally released in
1976 on vinyl, but this is far better in sound quality, plus
it has 4 bonus tracks (which all could have been hits if
released)
When first released (1976),
I
wasn't to keen on it, due to their change in style of music, but
as years went by and lots of listening,
I think its very
good.... and I'm sure fellow Slade fans
think the same. Each track is good and catchy,
and will get you humming later on, and for those of you
who haven't heard Slade prior to this, will think it's
great to. My favourite tracks are "Let's Call It Quits",
"Raining In My Champagne" and
"When The Chips Are Down"...gutsy and loud!!! Like I said the packaging
is very well put together, with a very good booklet telling
another Slade tale (Chris Ingham) and some great photos to.
Again all for under £9 from
Playing time 57.24 mins

Finally we have
B - SIDES (Cat
No: SALVODCD203)

At last!!!
Something has been produced, that all us Slade fans have desperately wanted
for years...
a collection of every B - side of the singles Slade released.
It took ages to come...
But was well worth the wait!!!

This double cd has a great cover (as shown above) and
interior (which you will see when you buy it).
There are 40 tracks (over 2hours playing time) of every
flipside from every single Slade released during
their long
successful music career. Each track is in order of
release from their first "One Way Hotel"
(B - side to "Wild Winds Are Blowing" 1969) to
their last "Red Hot" (B - side to the underrated "Universe" 1991).
Each track is of excellent quality and the latter half could
quite have been released as the A -side
(instead of the original) and had better chart success. Most
people know Slade only for "Merry Xmas
Everybody", well the B - side was "Don't Blame Me" and to me is the one of the best tracks on cd 1,
along with "I'm Me
I'm Now And That's Orl", showing off Noddy Holders powerful vocals, and how loud
could
be, Slade could do a wide variety of music, which you'll find out when you buy it. Tracks on cd 2
I really like are"Keep
Your Hands Off My Power Supply" and "You Boyz Make Big Noize", showing how much
noise they could really make. The bookletincluded is very good
and informative, giving details on each track,
year it was made, its A - side and a short write up on each
single. The "B - Sides" is well worth getting...
A must for any serious Slade fans collection!!!
